   ONE MORE POISON REVEALED

Another dangerous man-made chemical in a long, long row has been revealed, identified in an article in the scientific magazine Nature. The article warns that PFOS, a number of Fluoride based chemicals are as least as dangerous as the infamous PCB and DDT. While bodies within the European Union struggle to be kept apprised of over 50000 industrial chemicals present in our daily lives another addition is joining the mix, one which danger the scientific community so far has been unaware of. The PFOS group of chemicals has been seen as harmless, like many others before becoming under closer scrutiny. It becomes increasingly clear that all man made chemicals are dangerous to life in general and humans and others at the top of the food chain in particular.
PFOS is now revealed to be very slow to be broken down in nature. They are found in organisms all over the world and are, as countless other artificial, unnatural compounds, stored in our bodies for prolonged periods of time. All this has caught the scientific community and various public health and control bodies/organizations the world over completely unaware.
As has been the case with virtually any wonder drug and miracle chemical developed and used during the twentieth century.
This particular strain of the modern chemical miracle is found and used in paint, cleaning fluids and impregnation.

Article: CHEMICAL COCKTAIL

Editor's corner: SHORT NEWS THIS WEEK: Britain officials say that Britain will ban cloning of humans. If so, this will probably be the first official ban on human cloning.
The ban doesn't include fertilized human embryos.
One nation has come to its senses (partly, sort of, insufficiently). About 200 left to go.
Prime MInister Tony Blair and his labor party have embraced the very dangerous concept of GM - "genetic modification".
