   HUMANS WILL BE CLONED (VI)

   Several parties lay claim to the first human clone these days. One is the Italian physicist Severino Antonori and the circle around him, claiming the first cloned baby will be born in December. According to a recent statement he claims that he has three women impregnated with clones, and that everything is going well with mothers and children.
   - Another great victory for progressive science, Antonori states proudly.
   One other major player is the Raelianer-sect, here represented by the industrial venture Clonair Korea. They say they successfully impregnated a Korean woman and that the first clone will be born early next year. The Raeliner-sect claims we're all cloned from space aliens and that we, by cloning ourselves are merely fulfilling our destiny.
   - Our progenitors have patiently awaited this moment, a jubilant representative for the sect says. - Now it is finally at hand and there is reason to rejoice.
   At present there are between 5 to 10 more of less official projects going on. How many who are operating in clandestine circumstances are impossible to estimate, according to scientists issuing warnings.
