   CLANDESTINE REPORT ON CELLULAR PHONES

   An extensive report on how each type of cellular phones affects users, is kept secret. The Swiss scientist Niels Kuster (what a name to live up to) says to the Swedish daily newspaper Aftonbladet that he’s made a deal with producers to not publish his results. This in spite of results the scientist says is very interesting to the consumers.

   WEEK 42 1999

   CELLULAR PHONES DANGEROUS

   Scientists all over the world are now warning people not to use cellular phones, after a series of tests done independently of each other, showing similar results. Researcher Olle Johanson by the Karolinska Institute in Sweden says that rays from the phone goes through half of the brain of an adult person, even more so in children. Even limited use is influencing blood pressure, heart rhythm and hormone production of any human being.
   The increasing production and use of cellular phones is described as a typical, horrific case, where new technology is introduced without considering the consequences.

   WEEK 44 1999

   CELLULAR PHONE MANUFACTURERS ATTEMPTING TO BURY CRITICAL REPORT

   An american scientist, George Carlo, who during six years, has researched health hazard caused by the use of cellular phones, is now accusing the phone manufacturers of hiding the results. The charge is put forth in a letter written to the 26 manufacturers who gave him the assignment of «debunking all the negative reports about cellular phone use».
   - They’re now using millions of dollars to put me in a bad light, because they don’t like what I told them, he tells the London newspaper The Express.
   George Carlo is claiming to have proven that cellular phone users, are running a higher risk of developing brain cancer than other people.

   WEEK 8 2000

   USE OF CELLULAR PHONES LEAD TO ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE

   Use of cellular phones leads to senility - diseases like Alzheimer’s Disease and other similar neurological breakdowns. People who have it in their genetic make up, will get it earlier. People who are not disposed for it, are running a higher risk of developing it. This is decisively shown in research done by the University of Lund in Sweden. Experiments on rats are showing that radiation from cellular phones, are causing a premature death of brain cells, leading to senility - diseases as Alzheimer’s.

   WEEK 47 Nov 6th to 12th

   HANDS FREE CELLULAR PHONES EVEN MORE DANGEROUS

   If you're using a hands free cellular phone you'll be exposed to three times higher the already high level of radiation from ordinary cellular phones, three times higher than holding it to your ear. This is stated as a fact in British report published recently. The reason for this is that the hands free set is focusing the radiation.

   WEEK 50 Nov 27th to December 3rd

   CELLULAR PHONES EVEN MORE DANGEROUS FOR CHILDREN

   Amnesia, sleeping problems and headaches are included in quite a few short-term consequences of early use of cellular phones, according to many independent groups of international scientists. The long-term consequences include brain-cancer and Parkinson's disease. It's like putting your head inside a microwave oven. Half the brain gets cooked after extended exposure. The consequences for children are the same as for adults, as the British scientist Gerald Hyland writes in the American medical magazine The Lancet. But children are even worse off. Their immune defense system against diseases and outside influences in general, isn't so well developed, so robust as in adults.

   British authorities won't ban cellular phones, but they're issuing a warning about the danger of using them. The note of warning is supposed to be in place in all vendors and sales offices well before Christmas.
