   "HIGHER STADARD OF LIVING" CAUSES DISEASE

   An ever-higher number of children in Great Britain is contracting Leukemia. Physicians believe that, aside from pollution, "Higher standards of living" is the cause of this disturbing development. Children are subjected to fewer minor infections, thus weakening the body's immunity defense system, protecting against disease. Modern life, is, by isolating us from nature, from our natural surroundings, not the protective shell some have claimed it to be.
   Children don't fight off diseases as easy, as effectively as they used to. The physicians also believe that this is one of the reasons why the number of asthmatic continues to rise drastically.
