   In a an interview survey on subjects randomly selected from around the world, concerning the changes in climate and the environment in general, physician Peter Franklin currently residing in Sidney, Australia, has this to say:
   There is nothing to it, you know. There has always been bad weather, people have always been sick. Nothing new under the sun. The entire «environmental» scare, is basically a hysteria created and maintained by scientists seeking bigger grants and leftists on a permanent quest to dominate the world. We should stop giving them money and attention, and I can assure you that they would shut up soon enough.
   People need jobs, you know, and food. And to have jobs and feed the world, we need factories, we need energy and more than anything we need an increase in food production. Cheap energy, cheap food and easy access to new technologies. Any more of these prolonged attempts to stop progress and we may all eventually have to face the serious consequences of such stupidity. End of story!
