Sales price US $27, Europe 24 Euros, UK 22 Pounds (probably considerably less on some online stores). The novel is 182 000 words, and would have been far more pages if I had used the spacing and font size some established publishers do.

If the store near you desn't have the book or claim that they can't order it for you, give them the author, title and ISBN number and insist that they order it. Several of the world's largest distributors offer the book. That means it will be available also in non-english speaking countries. If you, for instance live on continental Europe and your store has an English language book section (which most stores have today), it should most definitely be available there.

        THE BOOK
It is happening. Both Liz and Ted feel it, deep below, at their core. What has been calm for decades is rising from its rest. The Janus Clan is finally ready and primed to reclaim its place in the world.
Ted and Tilla live in London in a fellowship of fate with their childhood friends. They are happy and thriving, in spite of everything the oppressive establishment society throws at them, in spite of the prevalent, growing unrest haunting them, disturbing their peace. Ted is plagued by nightmares, what appears to an increasing degree of prophetic visions. He closes his eyes hard, or tries to do so when all of it becomes too taxing. It is no use.
Liz is growing up in the American Rockies, taking her first, hesitant step on the path revealing itself to her. When she finds more pieces of the puzzle that is her life, ever more present themselves. The change, the changes come for them all, inevitable, like an approaching storm and just as deadly and destructive. The Birds Flying in the Dark must flap their wings, and they know that, and they rejoice, even as they know that they’re flying blind and that they do not know what is ahead, and that they can crash into a hard wall at any time.
It does not matter. The sparks, the next exploding sparks are right there, within, in the palm of their hand. They know they will burn. Wings of fire and shadow will flap, will stir an already seething air, will create the storm awaiting them at the end of the long, perilous flight.

    THE STORYTELLER
In a society placing great value on imposed learning, Amos Keppler has taught himself everything he knows. Among those many things are writing, acting, photography and playing music and theater.
He is a radical environmental activist, an eclectic witch emphasizing our unbreakable bond with nature.
This is the paperback version of his third novel.
His stories are inherently controversial. They go far beyond what most people consider acceptable.
