Lost in translation?

Our senses are our way of translating reality. We don't truly see it as it actually is, only what our incomplete awareness tells us it is.
Or perhaps, if perception truly is reality we sense it exactly like it is, but we still can't properly observe it all. There are pieces that will always elude us.
Or, as some people claim: today's incomplete teaching and our own fears keep us from divulging what is currently lost or misplaced.
It's still there, no matter how we deny its existence, deny the sinister truth of our lives.
